Organizational Value and Mandate
IRE, armed with critical perspective, has mandate on empowerment to develop some inherent values of democracy: plurality, autonomy, equality, similarity, civility, openness, anti-violence, anti-domination, anti-discrimination, and so forth. That is why IRE declares a “war” against discourses and practices of actors standing anti toward the values of democracy.
Vision
To be an organization playing a role in developing knowledge to influence strategic policies aiming at the establishment of powerful state and self-governing local communities.
Missions
1. Developing knowledge through researches, capacity buildings and publications.
2. Establishing multiparty engagements to reform policies.
3. Encouraging the state to be responsible to the fulfillment of the rights of citizens and communities.
4. Strengthening the emancipation of local entities oriented to welfare.
Principles
Some principles upheld by IRE in bringing the missions and vision into reality are: freedom, brotherhood, equality, openness, partnership, tolerance and accountability.
